Peckham Pale from Brick Brewery

Peckham Pale from Brick Brewery

Peckham Pale

What the brewery say

Extra pale malt is blended with Munich, Vienna and a splash of Crystal malt to produce a light golden colour. Columbus hops are used for bittering and Simcoe, Equinox, Cascade and Mosaic are added progressively throughout the boil with a good wedge added at the hop-stand phase. The hops add fruit, floral notes typical of a North American style pale ale. Clean US05 yeast is used to allow the hops to shine through.

Geeky details

ABV: 4.5%
Style: Pale Ale

Our opinion

A clear yellow gold with a white head and aromas of grapefruits and citrus fruits. The taste follows the aroma with the addition of some caramel and malts. A nice refreshing beer and good to see the traditional styles still being produced.

Where we drank it

The sixth beer of my weekend in London completing the Brewdog Big Smoke Beer Visa challenge, I drank Brick Brewery’s Peckham Pale at Brewdog Brixton.
