A rustic sour ale with plenty of Brett funk playing with the tart berries and spicy heather. As funky as they come from the OverWorks cellar. Complex aromas and flavours have arisen from bioconversions of the heather blossom as the Brett has fully attenuated this beer to a canvas dry palate rocker.

Our opinion

Pours clear golden yellow with a white head. Has a tart, funky aroma, with hints of citrus and woody notes. Tastes tart and sour with a blossom finish.

Where we drank it

The sixth and final beer of the second day of my weekend in London completing the Brewdog Big Smoke Beer Visa challenge, I drank Overworks‘ Thorn Blossom at Brewdog Paddington.
