Dr. Brauwolf was founded as the first show craft brewery in the city of Zurich in August 2017 by pharmacist and virologist Dr. Stefan Wolf. All beers are handcrafted, brewed fresh without any additives nor preservatives and are unpasteurised according to the slogan ‘Fresh Local Craft Beer’. The range of products consists of five core range beers plus an ever changing monthly special, the Craft Beer of the Month (CBM) for the craft beer lovers with a more adventurous taste. The team works according to tight scientific guidelines, which ensures consistently high quality beer. We are innovating what’s possible with beer, and are always creating fresh, unique tastes for beer lovers. Every Thursday and Friday the brewery opens its doors to the public between 5 and 8 pm, where customers can enjoy after work drinks in Dr. Brauwolf’s cosy taproom and meet the brewers. For the ones who are in for a special treat, there are also tastings and brewery tours available, where they experience how, where and by whom these delicious craft beers are made.
