Punk IPA is an American-style IPA from Scottish craft brewery Brewdog, that is light golden in colour with tropical fruits and light caramel on the nose. This fresh, full flavour natural beer is Brewdog’s tribute to the classic IPAs of yester-year. With a post modern twist of the addition of amazing fruity hops giving an explosion of tropical fruit flavours and a sharp bitter finish.

Where we drank it

A clear sunny day in late May and a circular hike to Guscha in Canton St. Gallen. This is the start of the hiking season and there are still patches of snow in the sheltered areas. What better to accompany a lunch of cold meats, Gruyère cheese and Tessinerbrot at the summit of Guscha than a cool refreshing glass of Brewdog’s Punk IPA.

Even better when you can chill the bottle with fresh Alpine water from one of the many streams or in a patch of snow.
