Lower Engadine Craft Brewery
Bieraria Tschlin SA is the owning company of an idyllic micro-brewery, based in the village of Martina in the Romansh speaking Kanton of Graubünden, in the far East of Switzerland, on the Swiss/Austrian border.
The idea of creating a brewery in the former municipality of Tschlin in the Lower Engadine region goes back to a workshop addressing the future of the local communities in September 2003, and on 30th June 2004, the company Bieraria Tschlin SA was officially formed as a Société Anonyme with about 1500 shareholders.
Bieraria Tschlin is a member of Bun Tschlin, a loose association of about 20 local businesses in the Valsoter area, with the purpose of joint advertising and sales promotion.
Biera Engiadinaisa is a range of beers produced by the brewery, all of which are produced using locally sourced ingredients, including untreated mountain spring water. Additionally, a single malt and Edelweiss and honey liqueurs are also produced by the company. All of the products are certified as organic by Bio Suisse.
