Helles from BRŁO

Helles from BRŁO

Helles

What the brewery say

Our interpretation of a German beer classic: Brewed with much love by hand, our light tastes pleasant, fine hop tasty and not too bitter. As after-work beer, in the park, or simply for the whole night! For this beer we use only German hops from the Hallertau and from Tettnang.

Geeky details

ABV: 5%
IBU: 25
Style: Helles
Ingredients: Brewing water, barley malt (Pilsen malt, Munich malt), hops (Hercules, Opal, Spalter Select, Tettnanger).

Our opinion

Pours a golden hazy colour with a white head. The aroma is hops and grass with some citrus hints. The taste is as you would expect with this style, fairly light with some floral and herbal notes.

Where we drank it

I drank the Helles from BRŁO during my trip to Berlin, as part of the tasting menu at the BRŁO Brwhouse in Berlin, accompanied by toasted bread and raw white mushrooms.
