Schweibenalp to Giessbach Hotel
Summary: This final section of the hike marks our descent back towards our starting point and leads us down a road, back over the stream that feeds into the waterfalls and to Restaurant Bramisegg and from there through the woodlands, to our starting point in the public car park at grandhotel Geisbach.
At Schweibenalp, we start our descent back to the start of the hike.
Initially, we follow the signpost directions to Bramisegg, which take us down a gravel road.
The road takes down through the forest area until we reach a bridge crossing the stream that feeds into the waterfall.
Crossing the bridge, we carry on down the gravel road until it joins another gravel road, which we carry on down, until we see the Restaurant Bramisegg in front of us.
Immediately before the building of Restaurant Bramisegg a signpost directs us down a small path towards Geissback/Hotel.
The path initially goes down some stone steps onto a grass covered gravel and stone footpath. The path is rough in places, with some larger stones embedded in the gravel, but it zig-zags down the side of the valley at a shallow angle, so this section of the hike is relatively easy.

Eventually, the path reaches a tarmac road and we turn right and walk a short distance, before a signpost directs us down another stone/gravel path, which makes its way down through the remaining wooded area, until eventually it opens out into a field that is in sight of the car park that we started the hike from.
