Brewdog Shepherd’s Bush
Brewdog Shepherd’s Bush offers 40 taps of craft beer goodness. The bar also has a selection of classic arcade games and pinball machines.
I chose Brewdog Shepherd’s Bush for a late lunch. A Buffalo Chicken burger and a side of fries, accompanied with Instamatic, a 4.5% white IPA that is full of tropical fruit aromas that are rapidly pursued by the taste of pineapple, mango and lemon. The sun outside is lovely and warm, so this is a welcome, refreshing addition to Brewdog‘s range.
From Brewdog Shepherd’s Bush, it’s back to Goldhawk Road tube stop for a journey south of the river. From Goldhawk Road, it’s the Hammersmith and City line to Hammersmith and then on to the District line to Victoria. At Victoria, we swap to the Victoria line and head south to Brixton and a short walk to Brewdog Brixton.
Brewdog Brixton
Brewdog Brixton has a different vibe to the other bars. The playlist for the bar’s sound system has a definite reggae vibe when I enter, as befitting the Jamaican influences of the area.
The bar has a smaller range of beers than some of the other bars and as I’m trying to have a different beer in each bar and avoid the headliners, I went for one of the guest beers.
Peckham Pale from Brick Brewery is a 4.5% American pale ale. Pale ales are never going to set the world alight, but at this point of the day, its nice to have a relatively light beer before heading for the final bar of the day.
Leaving Brewdog Brixton, we head to the bus stop and a number 35 bus to Eccles Road, which is right outside Brewdog Clapham.
